CJA bands have performed at music clubs in Denver including Dazzle and The Muse.

The Jazz Ambassadors program will host monthly jam sessions in downtown Denver at Fortissimo (14th and Champa)!

CJA bands will participate in the University of Northern Colorado Jazz Festival and the Evergreen Jazz Festival.

CJA bands have performed with nationally recognized jazz artists like Darren Rahn, Gabe Mervine, Greg Gisbert, and New Orleans star James Williams!

Inspiring Travel

From festivals in Las Vegas to performances in New Orleans, our programs immerse students in the glorious sounds of jazz.

The 2025-26 Rocky Mountain All Star Jazz Big Band will travel to Las Vegas for the regional Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival in February 2026.

The band will also compete to attend the Essentially Ellilngton Jazz Festival at the Lincoln Center in New York!
